Pete Irving
Head of Training & Chief Flight Instructor
Based: Teesside, Humberside, Breighton
Born in Stokesley, Pete has always been fascinated with aviation. He first began flying gliders at 12 and on his 17th birthday, completed his private pilot licence. Pete spent over a decade in the Royal Airforce as a pilot on Tornado F3 aircraft. He then transitioned into the commercial world amassing over 18000 hours in command of Airbus A320, A330 & A340 aircraft before moving over to the Boeing 787. Retiring from the long-haul lifestyle, Pete now enjoys training the next generation of pilots.

Pete is a qualified instructor for LAPL/PPL and many ratings including Aerobatic, Night and IR(R), a ground school examiner and a flight examiner.

Ab-Initio Training: LAPL, PPL
Revalidation: Single Engine Piston (SEP Land)
Ratings: Night, Instrument Rating (Restricted), Aerobatic
Endorsements: Variable Pitch Propellers (VP), Retractable Undercarriage (RU), Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS)
