Our Aircraft

At AeroSchool, we take pride in our impressive fleet of 17 aircraft, all of which are owned outright—a distinction that sets us apart from most flight schools. Our fleet is maintained to an exceptionally high standard, with every aircraft operating under CAMO agreement with a leading aviation maintenance partner. This ensures that each plane meets strict safety and performance standards, providing a reliable training platform for our students. Our fleet is also flexible, with aircraft rotating between our bases at Breighton, Teesside, and Humberside, allowing us to match availability with demand. With the size of our fleet, we are often able to provide spare aircraft in the event of technical issues, significantly reducing the risk of cancellations and ensuring more training opportunities for our students.

We offer a diverse fleet of aircraft, each chosen for its suitability for different training stages and pilot needs. Here's an overview of the aircraft types available across our bases:

Aquila A211

The Aquila A211 is a modern, German built, two-seat aircraft with advanced aerodynamics and a fuel-efficient engine, making it a joy to fly. It offers excellent visibility, which is ideal for both scenic flights and advanced training. The Aquila’s sleek design and responsive controls make it a great choice for students who want to experience a contemporary training aircraft. With four identical aircraft in the fleet, the Aquila A211 is our main basic training aircraft available at our Teesside base.

Cessna 150/152

The Cessna 150/152 is a staple of flight training worldwide, and for good reason. This two-seater aircraft is reliable, nimble, and highly efficient—ideal for solo practice, basic training, and hour-building. With simple controls and forgiving handling, the Cessna 150/152 is perfect for students learning the fundamentals of flying. These aircraft are available at all three of our bases: Breighton, Teesside, and Humberside.

Cessna 150/152 Aerobat

For those looking for a bit of adventure, the Cessna 150/152 Aerobat offers an entry into aerobatics. This aerobatic-capable version of the classic Cessna is available at our Breighton, Humberside and Teesside bases, allowing pilots to practice manoeuvres beyond standard training. Its robust construction and simplicity make it a fantastic choice for expanding your flying skills into aerobatics.

Cessna 172

The Cessna 172 is a four-seater, making it a great choice for those looking to bring passengers along for scenic flights or cross-country trips. Known for its stability, versatility, and comfort, the Cessna 172 is perfect for both training and leisurely flying. It is available at our Teesside base and is often used for cross-country navigation and building flight experience.

Piper PA28 Warrior

The Piper PA28 Warrior is a versatile, four-seat aircraft that offers a balance of comfort and performance, making it ideal for longer training flights and journeys with passengers. Its spacious cabin and predictable handling characteristics are well-suited for student pilots progressing through their training. The Piper PA28 is available at our Teesside, Humberside  & Breighton bases.
