Aerobatic Rating

The Aerobatic Rating is a specialized qualification that allows pilots to perform aerobatic manoeuvres, enhancing both their flying skills and understanding of aircraft performance. At AeroSchool, we offer comprehensive aerobatic training, designed to introduce you to advanced flying techniques such as loops, rolls, and spins in a safe environment.

Why Choose the Aerobatic Rating?
-
Advanced Manoeuvre Skills: The Aerobatic Rating teaches you how to handle an aircraft through dynamic manoeuvres, deepening your understanding of aircraft control, energy management, and handling at the edges of the flight envelope.
-
Enhanced Aircraft Control: Learning aerobatics significantly improves your overall flying ability. It builds confidence in handling unusual attitudes and develops precision in controlling the aircraft, skills that are useful even in regular flight situations.
-
Improved Safety Awareness: Aerobatic training familiarizes you with stall and spin recovery techniques, helping you react quickly and effectively in emergency situations. This increases your confidence and competence as a pilot, especially in unusual flight conditions.

What You Can Expect from AeroSchool’s Aerobatic Training:
-
In-Flight Training: You'll receive in-flight training on how to perform a variety of aerobatic manoeuvres, starting with basic techniques and progressing to more complex sequences. Training is conducted in fully aerobatic aircraft, ensuring you practice in a safe and responsive environment.
-
Ground Instruction: Ground school covers the theory behind aerobatic flying, including understanding g-forces, energy management, and how to safely execute manoeuvres. This theoretical knowledge supports your in-flight learning.
-
Controlled Airspace Experience: Operating out of international airports gives you the added experience of performing aerobatic manoeuvres in regulated airspace. You’ll learn to manage interactions with air traffic control (ATC) and practice in dedicated aerobatic areas, ensuring a smooth transition from training to real-world flying environments.

Training Requirements:
-
Eligibility: To obtain the Aerobatic Rating, you must hold a valid Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or higher.
-
Training Hours: The rating typically requires a minimum of 5 hours of dedicated aerobatic flight training and successful demonstration of key manoeuvres to a certified instructor.

Why Consider Aerobatic Training?
Aerobatic training offers pilots more than just the ability to perform advanced manoeuvres—it enhances safety, deepens aircraft handling skills, and provides a new level of enjoyment in flying. Whether for personal challenge or to improve your confidence in the cockpit, earning the Aerobatic Rating is a rewarding step in your aviation journey.
